More capitalist reforms in China

As if the capitalist revolution in China was not enough, now the central committee of the Chinese ''Communist'' Party has decided to allow more market reforms. These are the first major capitalist reforms since Deng Xiaoping died in 1997. The Chinese economy is state-capitalist, this means that the state still owns major enterprises. However the overall economy is based on the market system and even state enterprises must run on capitalist principals. This is why Revolutionary Socialist Media calls the People's Republic of China, a state-capitalist dictatorship. But now the market is to be giving more freedom, this will bring more economic growth according to president Xi Jinping, who is also the general secretary of the CCP!

Supporters of the Chinese ''Communist'' Party have nothing to stand on, except die-hard nationalism and radical chauvinism. China was never socialist and will never be a communist society. Stalinism died in China when Deng Xiaoping created the special economic zones around 1980. More capitalist reforms came in the 1990's and by 2013, most products of the western world are produced by low-paid workers in Chinese factories. 75 billionaires are members of the ruling Chinese ''Communist'' Party. Also the capitalist revolution has created a wealthy upper class of 1 million millionaires. These new rich live on the exploitation of Chinese workers. 800 million people in the PRC are poor and forced to work on a very low salary. Meanwhile the CCP bureaucracy and the new bourgeoisie, are stealing all the wealth the working class produces. This is why a socialist revolution is needed to crush capitalism and the criminal CCP!

Here we publish a time line of the capitalist reforms in the
People's Republic of China since 1978.

The time line has been produced by the
Center for Strategic and International Studies!

Chinese ''Communist'' Party announces more economic reforms to give more power to the capitalists!

Most western products are Made in China by millions of poor workers
Both the Chinese capitalists and the Chinese ''Communist'' Party
do not care about workers and the poor!

96 years ago, the socialist revolution in Russia

On 8 November 1917, the workers council of Petrograd ( Saint Petersburg ) declared the socialist revolution against the Russian provisional government. Revolutionary soldiers arrested the ministers and ended the rule of the bourgeoisie in Russia for 70 years. Since March 1917, Russia was ruled by pro-capitalist leaders who continued the first world war. The workers councils or soviets, opposed this and by November they had enough. Vladimir Lenin became chairman of the council of people's commissioners and head of the new Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic!

Russia was in a state of revolution since the czar was forced to step down. There were two sides who wanted power. The liberals and Mensheviks ( minority socialists ) wanted a parliamentary democracy and a capitalist economy. But many workers and the Bolsheviks ( majority socialists ) supported the rule of workers councils ( soviets ). Since 1912, the Russian Social Democratic Workers Party was split between a revolutionary socialist majority and a evolutionary socialist minority. The majority was led by Lenin who supported a Marxist revolution in Russia!

The capitalist parties opposed the revolution and demanded parliamentary rule. Lenin allowed the elections for the Russian Constitutional Assemble, but soon realized that a parliamentary democracy would not serve the needs of workers and poor peasants. Also the elections showed that both workers and peasants wanted a socialist transformation of Russia. The capitalist parties were very unpopular!

After only one day the Bolsheviks dissolved the Russian Constitutional Assemble, and all political power was transferred to the Congress of Soviets. Many liberals and Mensheviks opposed this and with support from conservatives and western imperialism, they founded the White Armies. These Whites were counter-revolutionaries, who hated Lenin for various reasons. Some hated him for being a revolutionary socialist, other hated him for abolishing the capitalist Provisional Government and finally some said that Lenin was a German spy!

Unlike the White Armies who were created right after the revolution in November 1917, there was no army to defend the Soviet state. In January 1918, the leftist social revolutionaries in the soviets said that the Red Guards were too weak to fight the armies of the counter-revolution. Lenin agreed and asked Leon Trotsky to create an army of workers and peasants. In February, the Workers and Peasants Red Army was founded. Originally an army with no ranks and officers were elected by soldiers. Very idealistic, but Trotsky found out that the democratic principals of the revolution could not win the upcoming civil war with the counter-revolutionaries!

Many members of the soviets also opposed to the idea, that former czarist officers were enlisted to lead the Red Army. But as the Red Army lost battle after battle, it became clear that a radical change in structure was needed. Trotsky was forced to use brutal recruitment tactics in order to gain new soldiers. Also he ended the democratic election of officers by soldiers. But this did not ended the weakness of the new Red Army. Many soldiers lacked military discipline and revolutionary idealism. Also the Red Army faced betrayal after betrayal as many peasant soldiers deserted after panicking on the battlefield!

Early 1919, things looked very bad for the revolution. 200.000 western soldiers from 21 nations had come to aid the White Armies. British forces attacked from the south, American from the north and Japanese soldiers invaded Russia from the east. Leon Trotsky had to use political commissars to keep the peasant soldiers from deserting. This meant that these commissars would shoot any red soldiers who deserted from the battlefield. A very brutal method, but one that was necessary to keep the Red Army from mass desertion!

Lenin moved the capital from Petrograd to Moscow in 1918. He faced also opposition from the anarchists, who hated the peace treaty with Imperial Germany. Anarchist bombs soon started to kill Soviet officials. After the anti-Soviet; Social Revolutionary Party started to murder members of the Soviet government, Lenin ordered the Red Terror. This happened after a social revolutionary woman tried to kill him on 30 August 1918. The Red Terror was cruel, as many victims were shoot win out a fair trial. But since the Soviet state was in chaos and at war, it was clear that radical actions were needed to protect the rule of the soviets!

The capitalist media claims that Lenin always wanted to kill his opponents and that his ideology is ´´criminal´´ and ´´undemocratic´´ because of it. In reality the Red Terror was only enforced because of the war situation and only because of the White Terror. Many Bolsheviks were murdered at the hands of anarchists, social revolutionaries, White Army soldiers and foreign armies. Like the Bolsheviks in Baku, Azerbaijan. There the Mensjewiks were in control of the local soviets and they choose to surrender to British troops. After they were hailed as ´´liberators´´, the British executed 26 Soviet officials in the capital of Azerbaijan. Also executed was the leader of the Baku Commune; Stepan Gevorgi Shahumyan.

Shahumyan was the chairman of the Baku Commune, the soviet of the capital of Azerbaijan. He faced both the bourgeois; Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ottoman Empire. In July 1918, Shahumyan and the leaders of the Baku Commune were forced to flee as counter-revolutionary forces invaded the city of Baku. Soon he was captured and executed by members of the anti-Soviet; Social Revolutionary Party!

In 1920, the western nations pulled their armies out of Russia. This was done because the ruling class feared a ´communist´ uprising. Win out the support from those 200.000 western soldiers, the White Army soon started to lose battles. This was because the Red Army was finally getting stronger. With iron discipline and no mercy, the reds pushed the whites back. Meanwhile the peasants started to rebel against War-Communism and the Red Terror. Many peasant groups were established to fight the Red Army. The most famous of them were the peasant sailors of Kronstadt, who rose up in February 1921!

Praised by the anarchist and capitalist media, the sailors of the Baltic Fleet choose to rebel and demanded that there would be soviets win out Bolsheviks. Fearful of a western invasion if the rebels kept the Fortress of Kronstadt, the Red Army attacked. More then 17.000 sailors fought the Red Army over the ice, but were finally defeated. Most peasants were able to flee to Finland, while 2.000 were captured and later executed!

To calm the peasants, Lenin introduced the New Economic Politics. War-Communism was abolished and a semi-market economy replaced it. Under this new economy, the peasants were allowed to sell their products on the open market. But many communists opposed the NEP, yet with the support from Stalin and the right-wing of the party, Lenin was able to introduce the NEP. From a socialist point of view the NEP stood in opposition to the ideals of the socialist revolution. But considering the fact that the peasants were the majority in Russia, it is understandable that Lenin did not have the luxury to make them angry!

Thanks to the divided nature of the White Armies, the Red Army won most battle and by early 1922 it became clear that the revolution would triumph. White soldiers kept fighting until the last were defeated early 1923. But before that Lenin wanted to unite all Soviet republics. Six were created by 1922, a Russian, Ukrainian, Belarussian, Armenian, Georgian and Azerbaijanian. The Caucasian Soviet republics were united in the Transcaucasian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic!

The end of the civil war was not the end of the struggle. Even with the foundation of the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics, the fight was not over. Now a new danger appeared, the danger of the state bureaucracy. Lenin saw this too but was forced to leave office due to his health. In March 1923 he became paralysed and was unable to walk or speak. The USSR was by now no longer ruled by the soviets, but by the leadership of the Russian Communist Party. Inside the party there was opposition to this, led by Leon Trotsky some communists opposed the idea of party power over soviet power. But the party bureaucracy was supported by Joseph Stalin, who was general secretary and had gained a lot of power!

Trotsky and the left opposition tried to fight him, but were defeated thanks to Stalin's control over the state apparatus. He expelled Trotsky and all who opposed him from the communist party. By 1928, any criticism of Stalin was called criticism of ´Marxism-Leninism´ and therefore banned. Vladimir Lenin had died on 21 January 1924, he never saw the final degeneration of his party into the monster that became stalinism!

Vladimir Lenin speaks at the Congress of Soviets
He was elected chairman of the new RSFSR

A failed nation; the Democratic Republic of Congo

The nation is called Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC ) but like the former German Democratic Republic ( 1949-1990 ) or the Democratic Republic of Vietnam ( 1954-1975 ) it is neither a democracy nor a free nation. Congo is the name of two African nations. One nation used to be called the People's Republic of Congo ( PRC ) and the other the Republic of Zaire. The Stalinist PRC was hated by the anticommunist leader of Zaire; Mobutu. He became president in 1965 with CIA support, who feared a ''communist'' takeover of Congo. Mobutu was a kleptomaniac and turned the former colony into a totalitarian anticommunist dictatorship that lasted 32 years. After Mobutu was removed from power the Republic of Zaire was renamed Democratic Republic of Congo!

There are two Congo's in Africa. The former People's Republic of Congo was part of the French African Empire and today's Democratic Republic of Congo was part of Belgium. King Leopold 2 bought the land that became his private African empire. He called it the Congo Free State and murdered more then 7 million black workers between 1885 and 1908. Leopold and his Belgian colonialists also loved to amputate arms and legs of black workers who worked not hard enough for the European monarch. Finally in 1908 did the Belgian state intervene and nationalized the Congo Free State. For 52 years the nation was called Belgian Congo, a colony of the Kingdom of Belgium!

On 30 July 1960, the Kingdom of Belgium gave up its colony. But soon political unrest started when American and Belgian imperialists fuelled violence and terrorism. This was done to destabilize the government of Patrice Emery Lumumba, who was a popular anti-colonialist fighter. Lumumba was supported by the Soviet-Union and Cuba, this is why western imperialism destabilized the new government by supporting ethnic violence and terrorism. Soon Patrice Emery Lumumba was arrested by supporters of Joseph-Desiré Mobutu. Unlike many African anti-colonialists, Mobutu was a supporter of US imperialism and hated communism!

Lumumba was murdered by troops loyal to Mobutu. In 2001 it was reviled that Belgian officers were present during the torture and final execution. Western imperialism had murdered a democratic elected president and with his death, Congo was turning more unstable. Finally in November 1965, Joseph-Desiré Mobutu came out as the winner of the Congo Crisis that killed 150.000 people. He banned all political parties, only his Popular Movement for the Revolution was allowed.

In 1970, the Congolese Party of Labour took power in Congo-Brazzaville, the smaller Congo next to today's DRC. The Congolese stalinists created the People's Republic of Congo, a single party state that supported Marxism-Leninism ( Stalinism ). Joseph-Desiré Mobutu hated the revolutionary government in Congo-Brazzaville. So the dictator of Congo-Kinshasa, created the Republic of Zaire in 1971. This anticommunist nationalist dictatorship was very totalitarian in nature. Mobutu created a cult of personality around himself and forced the Congolese people to worship him!

The 1974 constitution enshrined the Popular Movement for the Revolution ( MPR ) as the vanguard of the nation. It stated that "there exists a single institution, the MPR, incarnated by its President," that the "President of the MPR is ex officio President of the Republic, and holds the plenitude of power exercise," and that "Mobutism" was constitutional doctrine. All citizens of Zaire became members of the MPR at birth. In effect, the government was a tool of the Popular Movement for the Revolution like the Congolese Party of Labour in the People's Republic of Congo!

In Zaire, Mobutu changed its name to Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga. He was now the only man who was allowed to rule. His government was very corrupt, but loved by France and Belgium for its anticommunism. Western leaders were very nice to the dictator of Zaire and paid him millions to oppress the people of Congo-Kinshasa. Mobutu owned at least five billion US dollars, stored in western banks. He and his wife lived in a luxurious palace that was created with rooms copied from Buckingham Palace. Also Mobutu build a Chinese mansion and was called by the state media; Father of the Nation," "Messiah," "Guide of the Revolution," "Helmsman," "Founder," "Savior of the People," and "Supreme Combatant''!

Western imperialism came to the aid of Mobutu twice. In 1977, rebels with support from the People's Republic of Angola invaded Zaire. France came to the rescue and lifted 1.500 paratroopers into Zaire to aid Mobutu. With French support, the rebels were pushed back into Angola. But a year later they returned in larger numbers, again trying to overthrow the anticommunist dictatorship. The governments of Belgium and France deployed troops with logistical support from the United States and defeated the rebels again!

As dictator, Mobutu cared only about himself. He did nothing to help his people and behaved like a kleptomaniac. He owned a fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles that he used to travel between his numerous palaces, while the nation's roads rotted and many of his people starved. Infrastructure virtually collapsed, and many public service workers went months without being paid. Most of the money was siphoned off to Mobutu, his family, and top political and military leaders. Only the Special Presidential Division ( on whom his safety depended ) was paid adequately or regularly. A popular saying that the civil servants pretended to work while the state pretended to pay them expressed this grim reality!

All this was done with the blessing and support from western imperialist nations like France, Belgium and the USA. They knew about the totalitarian dictatorship, but did nothing. Because Mobutu was anticommunist and an ally in the struggle against ''communism'' in Africa. Americans loved him because Mobutu was among the few African nations that supported the USA during the Cold War!

But Mobutu's absolute rule was challenged in 1990. Western imperialism could no longer support him, because stalinism was collapsing and the ''communist'' nations of Africa was turning pro-capitalist. Now the old dictator was suddenly criticized by western leaders for his single party state and totalitarianism. Mobutu was forced to accept a multi-party system in his Republic of Zaire. In May 1990, he lifted the ban on political parties. Soon the people of Congo-Kinshasa started to rebel against unpaid wages and political corruption. By then more then 186.000 people were murdered by Mobutu's government!

In order to give the opposition more power, Mobutu gave them seats in his government. But he kept most power for himself. After four years, the situation was still very bad. People were demanding changes and western imperialism wanted capitalist reforms in Congo-Kinshasa. So Mobutu started with privatisations and market reforms. This led to more poverty as only the elite of the Mobutu regime were able to buy companies and own economic property. In November 1996, the dictator tried to arrest a popular opposition figure, this led to rebellion and his government lost control over the north!

The army of the Republic of Zaire was very backward. It was not able to fight the rebels in the north, as it was underpaid and only used to crush civilian demonstrations in the past. It was no effective fighting army, thanks to years of corruption and mismanagement by the Mobutu clan. On 16 May 1997, Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga, fled his Republic of Zaire. Leaving a destroyed and very poor nation behind. The rebels led by Laurent-Désiré Kabila faced little resistance and proclaimed victory on 17 May. A few months later, Mobutu died from prostate cancer in exile!

Laurent-Désiré Kabila became the new president of the renamed Democratic Republic of Congo. But he could not keep stability. World capitalism demanded that he acted as a pro-capitalist politician which he did. Poverty and corruption did not ended with the removal of Mobutu. Soon the former rebels started to fight among themselves for power. The African world supported both sides in the conflict. Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda supported the Tutsi led opposition while the new Congo government and nations like Angola supported the Hutu's. So the civil war in Congo became an ethical conflict between two rival tribes. The conflict between Thusi's and Hutu's is very old, but it was the Hutu government of Rwanda that murdered between 500.000 and 1.000.000 Thutsi's in what is known as the Rwanda Genocide!

The Congo Civil War also led to the death of president Laurent-Désiré Kabila. He was assassinated in 2001 by one of his bodyguards. Some say that Rwanda paid for the murder. Kabila's son became the next president and remains president of the DRC until this day. Joseph Kabila Kabange is a typical corrupt African president. He fakes elections to remain president, his supporters use terror and voter intimidations to keep Joseph Kabila in power!

Today in 2013, the DRC is the biggest failed state in the world. Corruption, abuse of power and rape of females are common. The government does not care and people are left to rot in poverty. Criminal gangs are very active as police forces are underpaid and have low interests in keeping the population save. To blame is western imperialism who lead the seeds for poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Nations like France, Belgium and the USA supported the regime of Mobutu until the end. They paid him millions for his anticommunist viewpoints. That is why we revolutionary socialists blame the capitalist governments for the destruction of the Congo nation.

16 May 1997, Mobutu's kleptomaniac regime is gone
After 32 years and 186.000 deaths!

The man who led the capitalist revolution in Russia!

As the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics collapsed, a tiny minority took their chance and established a dictatorship of money and greed. Its first leader was Boris Yeltsin who proofed in 1993 that he was a true capitalist dictator. Yeltsin disbanded the Supreme Soviet and started a political crisis which ended with the storming of the parliamentary building by Russian forces, who were loyal to the president. With the Supreme Soviet and the Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Federation dissolved, Boris Yeltsin created a presidential dictatorship that remains in power until this day!

Boris Yeltsin was a member of the CPSU since 1961. Like most communist party bureaucrats he only cared about his own interests. Yeltsin was a growing star in the party, joining the Stalinist elite of the USSR by 1968. Being part of the Stalinist elite gave him more benefits then ordinary workers and party members. He was allowed to shop in special stores with western products, he could own a luxurious car and live in a nice house. It was Boris Yeltsin who was ordered to destroy the Ipatiev House, the villa in which the Romanov's were murdered. He also helped building a palace for the Communist Party of the Soviet-Union and made a name for himself inside the Stalinist bureaucracy!

For his loyalty and uncritical support of the party, he was awarded the Order of Lenin. By 1981 he became a member of the party's Central Committee. Boris Yeltsin made his way from a simple party member around 1961, to a Central Committee member in 1981. His rise to power lasted 20 years. Now he was able to influence major decisions made in the Soviet-Union. When Michael Gorbachev was elected general secretary, he gave Boris Yeltsin a seat in the party's Politburo. However he could not vote since he was only a none-voting member. Soon he became boss of the party in Moscow and a full supporter of Gorbachev's reforms!

In Moscow he turned out to be populist and took the trolleybus instead of a limousine. This was welcomed by many who hated the wealthy party bureaucrats. As party leader in Moscow, Boris Yeltsin controlled the politics of the capital. Since true power laid with the communist party and not the soviets, Yeltsin was the political leader of Moscow. Unlike other CPSU leaders, Yeltsin's populism was loved because he also attacked and fired corrupt party officials. After more then 70 years living under the nose of corrupt bureaucrats, many people in Moscow welcomed Boris Yeltsin's harsh stand on corruption!

In 1987 he wanted to leave the politburo of the CPSU, because the reforms were too slow. Many party bureaucrats were in shock because no member had ever dared to leave the politburo. When the Central Committee came together, Boris Yeltsin attacked Micheal Gorbachev, which stunned many. Beside the fact that nobody had ever quit the Politburo, no one in the party had ever had the audacity to address a leader of the party in such a manner in front of the Central Committee since Leon Trotsky attacked Joseph Stalin in the 1920's. Yeltsin stood alone as the supporters of Gorbachev attacked him. On 9 November, 1987, Yeltsin tried to kill himself and was rushed to hospital bleeding from self inflicted cuts to his chest. Gorbachev ordered the injured Yeltsin from his hospital bed to the Moscow Central Committee two days later where he was ritually denounced by the party faithful in what was reminiscent of a Stalinist show trial before he was fired from the post of First Secretary of the Moscow CPSU. Yeltsin said he would never forgive Gorbachev for this 'immoral and inhuman' treatment!

Boris Yeltsin returned to politics in 1989 as a member of the new Congress of People's Deputies of the Soviet Union. He was elected with 92% from the Moscow population who were still in favour of him, because Yeltsin stood against corrupt CPSU officials. A year later he left the Congress of People's Deputies of the Soviet Union and became a member of the Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian SFSR. In July 1990, Boris Yeltsin left the Communist Party of the Soviet-Union after 29 years of membership. He no longer needed the CPSU as worldwide stalinism collapsed. Thanks to his popularity among the Moscow population, he was elected president of the RSFSR in June 1991!

In August 1991, the hard-liners of the CPSU tried a coup against Gorbachev. In Moscow, Boris Yeltsin rallied the people in defence of the Soviet president and soon the last Stalinist attempt to keep the CPSU in power collapsed. Now it was time for Boris Yeltsin to strike back at the Communist Party of the Soviet-Union. By presidential degree he banned the activities of the CPSU and ended the life of the mightiest communist party in the world. With the collapse of the USSR in December 1991, the new Russian Federation was created. Yeltsin took the old czarist flag as state flag, but kept the Soviet emblem of the RSFSR until a new emblem was created!

Millions of Russians were now suddenly living in new nations. In the former Baltic Soviet republics most Russians were hated and intimidated by the new nationalist governments. Also in Georgia, Russians were targeted by nationalists who after years of Russian domination were finally able to get ''revenge''. Boris Yeltsin also faced the rise of Islamic extremism as his capitalist revolution would bring 40% of all Russians into poverty. The man who was loved by millions in 1990, would soon destroy the lives of the same millions who loved him!

Just days after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Boris Yeltsin resolved to embark on a program of radical economic reform. Unlike Gorbachev's reforms which sought to expand democracy in the Soviet system, the new regime embarked to completely dismantle the planned economy and fully restore capitalism, converting the world's largest planned economy into a free-market one. During early discussions of this transition, Yeltsin's advisers debated issues of speed and sequencing, with an apparent division between those favouring a rapid approach and those favouring a gradual or slower approach!

After the debates, the rapid approach was chosen. Boris Yeltsin took the Washington Consensus as his main ideological guidelines. This is also called ''Shock Therapy'' refers to the sudden release of price and currency controls, withdrawal of state subsidies, and immediate trade liberalization within a country, usually also including large-scale privatization of previously public-owned assets. It all started in January 1992, when the government started with the capitalist counter-revolution. Russians were not able to deal with the demands of the new market dictatorship. Also the new capitalist economy destroyed the last social security systems left over from the Soviet-Union. Elderly people lost most of their pensions, leaving them with no money to pay for food, house renting and basic needs. Workers lost their jobs as many former state enterprises, could not survive under market demands!

The Russian Federation lost 50% of the gross domestic product by 1993 and poverty was rising very fast. But Boris Yeltsin did not cared, he was in a power struggle with the Supreme Soviet and the Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Federation. The president and the parliament were fighting since 1991. Yeltsin wanted to reform the constitution and this was opposed by the elected representatives. After more conflicts the president left the parliament and the representatives choose to remove him from power. So Boris Yeltsin simply dissolved the Supreme Soviet and the Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Federation. But according to the constitution he had no power to do something like that. The first constitution said that Russia was a parliamentary democracy and not a presidential state!

The Russian Constitutional Crisis began on 21 September 1993. The western nations and the Russian Army supported the president, while many Russians supported the Supreme Soviet and the Congress of People's Deputies. In the parliament the representatives locked themselves in and refused to come out. It was then that Boris Yeltsin showed his true colours and ordered the Russian Army to attack the parliament and shoot at all demonstrators in the capital. After two weeks the siege was over, the parliament of Russia was burning ending the short period of Russian bourgeois democracy. According to the president and the Russian Army 187 people died, but the supporters of the Supreme Soviet claimed the 2.000 people were killed!

Boris Yeltsin then banned newspapers and political movements that supported the former Supreme Soviet and Congress of People's Deputies. In 1993 many Russians believed the lies of Boris Yeltsin and only 30% of all Russians, were supportive of the Supreme Soviet and the Congress of People's Deputies. But this changed after Boris Yeltsin left office in 1999. Today many Russians hate Boris Yeltsin for dissolving the Supreme Soviet and the Congress of People's Deputies. A new constitution was created by the president, which gave him the powers he needed to rule as dictator. It is this constitution that also allows Vladimir Putin to play czar of Russia!

On 30 November 1993, the Russian Federation presented its new coat of arms. The Soviet emblem which was in use since 1920, was replaced by the two-headed eagle and the mounted figure slaying the dragon. In other words the emblem of the old Russian Empire was back. With a new parliament and new symbols, the Russian Federation returned to the capitalist road it left in 1917. Boris Yeltsin's popularity was close to zero by the year 1999. In a surprise move he left the office of president and made his prime minister leader of Russia. This prime minister was a former KGB officer called; Vladimir Putin. In his final speech Yeltsin said: "I want to beg forgiveness for your dreams that never came true. And also I would like to beg forgiveness not to have justified your hopes." But by then most Russians grew to hate the man who brought poverty and capitalist barbarism to Russia!

Today the Russian Federation is a presidential dictatorship. Dictator Vladimir Putin is ruler for almost 14 years. Although he left the presidency between 2008 and 2012, he was always the true ruler of Russia. Putin knows how to manipulate the system and his supporters play on his charisma and Russian nationalism. But in reality most Russians suffer under the state-capitalist dictatorship that Yeltsin has created. The power of the state was restored by Putin after 1999, but not the social security of the former Soviet-Union, leaving many elderly in poor houses with a very low income. Racism and homophobia are also on the rise, as the Russian Orthodox Church is able to get feminists jailed for dancing in a church!

Boris Yeltsin lived for another 8 years before dying on 23 April 2007. He was the first democratically elected president of Russia. Loved by the people of Moscow, but in the end hated by most Russians. He was a capitalist leader, who brought poverty and capitalist exploitation. Boris Yeltsin wanted a democracy as long as it served him. Because when the representatives of Russia choose to oppose him, he ordered the army to shoot at the heart of a bourgeois democracy, the parliamentary building. With this act, Boris Yeltsin created the presidential dictatorship that we know is Russia today!

Representatives of the Supreme Soviet and
the Congress of People's Deputies stood for 14 days in opposition
to Boris Yeltsin, before he ordered the army to shoot at the
parliamentary building!

CIA doctors and psychologists, tortured prisoners!

The criminals of the Central Intelligence Agency of the USA are just as cruel and evil as the former Committee for State Security of the USSR was. Now we know that doctors and psychologists were told to use torture methods on prisoners at GITMO concentration camp. Since the US Army build this camp in Cuba, many prisoners have felt the cruel hands of American soldiers torturing them. Doctors and psychologists who worked at GITMO, violated their code by torturing prisoners for information. This violation of human rights is just one of many committed by the criminal CIA!

Ethical principals were violated in order to gain information from the prisoners. This concludes a independent investigation into the activities of medical people at GITMO concentration-camp. The report, Ethics Abandoned: Medical Professionalism and Detainee Abuse in the War on Terror, is based on two years of review of records in the public domain by a 19-member task force. The report details how Department of Defense ( DoD ) & CIA policies institutionalized a variety of interventions by military and intelligence agency doctors and psychologists that breach ethical standards to promote well-being and avoid harm!

The Department of Defense and the criminal CIA are found guilty of:

• Excused violations of ethical standards by inappropriately characterizing health professionals engaged in interrogation as “safety officers,” masking one of their key functions;

• Implemented rules that permitted medical and psychological information obtained by health professionals to be used in interrogations;

• Required physicians and nurses to forgo their independent medical judgment and counseling roles, as well as to force-feed competent detainees engaged in hunger strikes even though this is forbidden by the World Medical Association and the American Medical Association;

• Improperly designated licensed health professionals to use their professional skills to interrogate detainees as military combatants, a status incompatible with licensing; and
failed to uphold recommendations by the Army Surgeon General to adopt international standards for medical reporting of abuse against detainees

Revolutionary socialists are not surprised that human rights were violated. But that doctors and psychologists did nothing to end the criminal activists of both the DoD and the CIA, proofs that US imperialism is cruel, inhuman and above all criminal. Just like the former Stalinist regime in the USSR, the USA is guilty of abusing human rights. Not just at GITMO but around the world. From Afghanistan to Iraq, the criminals of the CIA murdered and killed. From supporting the Saudi-Arabian government and the dictatorial regime of other Arab monarchies. Also CIA criminals destroyed democratic elected governments in Chile and Iran!

These reports show that the USA does not care about freedom and democracy. For American capitalist politicians these words are only good for propaganda. We see this in both capitalist parties that run this plutocracy. Both the Democratic Party of Barack Obama as the Republican Party, only use ''freedom'' and ''democracy'' to brainwash the American people. The Republicans are masters at this, but the Democrats are also very good at lying!

This is why we must oppose capitalism and imperialism, because the United States of America is not a force for good in this world. It is very sad that many still think that America is the nation of the free, but this is a lie. The American people are brainwashed with the idea, that they are free. But reality shows that they are not free. NSA/CIA criminals spy on them while demonstrators feel the iron fist of the state police forces. Hero's like Edward Snowden must flee for their lives while Chelsea Manning spends 35 years in jail for exposing the crimes of the US Army!

Now that we known that also doctors and psychologists participated in these tortured, we know for certain that the government of the USA is cruel and evil. It is also hypocrite that American politicians from both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party love to tell you about ''American freedoms'' while their CIA torture prisoners at GITMO concentration-camp. The doctors and psychologists of the Nazi German SS acted this way too. We know what these criminals did in Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen!

A picture that North Koreans were not to see

Eternal president Kim Il Sung was a cruel dictator, who ruled the ''Democratic'' People's Republic of Korea from 1948 till his death in 1994. As a classic Stalinist dictator he created a cult of personality around him. This cult is still alive in today's North Korea, although Kim Il Sung is no longer the only god. He maybe eternal president but his son Kim Jong Il, has been promoted to godhood after his own death in December 2011. Now both father and son are the center of the North Korean religion, which idolized these two criminals. In his last years however, Kim Il Sung grew a tumor ( calcium deposit ). Not a dangerous tumor but it grew just behind his neck. North Korean photographers were forbidden to take a picture with his tumor present. This proofed to be difficult in the last years before Kim Il Sung's death, as his tumor grew into the size of a tennis ball.

In his last years, president Kim Il Sung developed a tumor
This was not to be showed to the North Korean public and
few people inside the Stalinist monarchy would have known about it!

North Korea on the internet

The ''Democratic'' People's Republic of Korea is one of the worst nations on the planet. A totalitarian monarchy led by a 30 year old leader, who is fat and enjoys luxury and wealth. Meanwhile 8 million North Koreans do not have enough food and suffer hunger. The DPRK is the last classic Stalinist state on the planet. A nation in which time has been slow. Most means of production are outdated and many factories run on machines that were build before 1990. But what makes North Korea such a terrible place? It is its totalitarian cult of personalities. Two death leaders are worshipped like gods. This state enforced religion has turned the people of the DPRK into slaves, brainwashed and backward.

You would think that the DPRK would not have anything related to the internet. Because the internet stands in complete opposition to the nature of the North Korea state and society. Internet means freedom of information and this is not liked by the ruling caste. So internet access is very limited, only a few elite members of the ''Workers'' Party of Korea have access to the global internet. North Korea does have an intranet called Kwangmyong for schools and universities. Because only a small number of government-authorized persons are allowed to use the global Internet, Kwangmyong is the only computer network available to common people. It is a free service for public use!

On the global internet the DPRK is surprisingly active. The government of this Stalinist monarchy has build many websites and even created accounts on You-tube and Google+. Here we show you some websites that are created by the DPRK:

These websites contain mostly propaganda videos. They try to show the world a false picture about a ''socialist paradise under kimilsungism-kimjongilism''. Like many Stalinist dictatorships you see parades and pseudo-happy people, who all seem to support their party and supreme leader. But we revolutionary socialists know better. We know about the hunger, the outdated means of production, extreme militarism mixed with Korean nationalism, chauvinism and monarchism. That is the true picture of the ''Democratic'' People's Republic of Korea. A picture they don't want you to see, that is why their social media pages on the internet are only there for one thing: to spread propaganda and lies. This is why Revolutionary Socialist Media stands in opposition to the North Korean government, party and Kim family. We know the true nature of their state and we oppose the ''Workers'' Party of Korea and its leader Kim Jong Un. We oppose the single party state and the isolationist ideologies of Juche and Songun. Their lies can be spread throughout the internet, but so can our propaganda. This is why the North Koreans are not allowed access to the internet. Because that would mean the end of the lies spread by Kim Jong Un and his criminal family!
